GC Outreach
CONGRATULATIONS!
We are so happy that you have decided to help us distribute literature at Thunder Over Louisville on April 23rd, 2022. These are momentous times that we are living in and how exciting it is that we are called to participate, help our Lord and make a difference!
On Sabbath, April 23rd, over 1 million people from around the United States will gather at Louisville’s Waterfront Park for the kickoff to this year’s Kentucky Derby festivities. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for Christ to work through His children to impart the light of His love to thousands who are still struggling in darkness.
Therefore, we are inviting Adventist Christians from around the area to join a united effort to distribute tens of thousands of copies of the life-saving book Great Controversy to the masses on the day of this event. We are inviting youth groups, churches, families, couples and individuals to participate. Here are the answers to a few of your questions:
What is the name of this event?
The name of this event is "Sharing His Light". The goal of the event is to unite with local Adventists to share thousands of copies of the book Great Controversy with the people who will attend Thunder Over Louisville on Sabbath, April 23rd.
Who is sponsoring this event?
This outreach is organized by the Campbellsville SDA Church and Just By Faith Ministries.
Who can participate?
Anyone who loves and aligns with the everlasting gospel presented in Revelation 14:6-12 can participate in this event and help distribute literature. Youth groups, churches, families, couples and individuals who love Jesus are all welcome to attend. We do ask that anyone under the age of 14 be accompanied by an adult.
When is the event?
"Sharing His Light" takes place on Sabbath (Saturday) April 23rd from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm at Louisville's Waterfront Park. If I want to participate, what do I bring with me?
Participants should bring comfortable shoes as we will be standing and walking throughout the day. Optional items include a folding chair, umbrella, jacket, wagon for books, sunscreen and a hat/shades. If you have Great Controversy books to share, you are more than welcome to bring your own.
Will food be provided?

I pray that you will consider joining your fellow Adventist christians as we seek to follow the instructions provided to us by our Lord:
"We should improve every such opportunity as that presented by the St. Louis Fair. At all such gatherings there should be present men whom God can use. Leaflets containing the light of present truth should be scattered among the people like the leaves of autumn. To many who attend these gatherings these leaflets would be as the leaves of the tree of life, which are for the healing of the nations." – {Ev 36.1}
Jesus desperately wants to come to the earth to take His children home, ending suffering and pain for all eternity. As believers, we must do a better job of helping to expedite the event! RSVP below!
